Tabby - Brown - Lionel - Medium - Adult - Male - Cat
Lionel is a shy guy who wants a family, but is just a little too scared to walk up and say hello. He hopes someone will come to him instead. He arrived as a stray cat, and was much more shy in the beginning. Right now, he's still testing the waters with people, but he's finding that after a little bit of time, he really likes them. He's still a little reserved at first but we think with just a little time and patience, he will come around and into your lap for life! Won't you give him a chance? Lionel can be a real character. He likes to jump up on the table when people are eating, and beg for a french fry. He also likes to hang out in the front of the shelter and observe the people coming in and out. He often gets overlooked for other more brave and friendly cats, but this little guy truly deserves his own family! Here is a note from Lionel's family. We have been fostering Lionel for nearly two weeks. The first week, he joined what we found was a colony of dust bunnies under the bed. :/ Once they were evicted, he decided to hang with us in our office. Yah! And this morning was his first foray into voluntarily joining the morning stampede for breakfast. His appetite is great, not so into hiding, and absolutely loves windows and dog beds. :)Lionel is looking for a home that understands his nervousness around people. He has not figured out the joys of being petted and snuggled. He wants to, but isn't quite there. He does well with our cats and dog (really a pacifist) and deserves a home of his own.
